This is where it all started in 2013, at a small office in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, Dr. Kady Schloesser’s hometown. Dr. Kady together with her family converted an old home into the first office. With the growth of the Sprout, the office grew too. We doubled its size, then outgrew it again. The building has served administrative purposes since the move to Hamlin in 2019, but is back open Monday through Thursday.

Sprout Dental opened in Hamlin in 2019. We converted a General Dentist’s office into the coolest, most kid-friendly Pediatric Dentist’s office in Northeast Pennsylvania. And by converted, we mean ripped out all the walls and rebuilt it from the inside out.
The office features eight single chair treatment rooms, and two rooms with dual benches for families. We perform our conscious sedations here, and partner with a local lactation consultant who supports our diode-laser frenectomy practice.

A few years ago we planted seeds for a more southerly Sprout. Kingston Pennsylvania was about an hour from our northernmost offices. That didn’t stop patients from wanting to come and see us. We originally took over an existing pediatric dental office, transformed it into Sprout and grew from there. Earlier this year, we opened a brand new office in Kingston, to serve patients from across the Wyoming Valley and Greater Wilkes Barre area.

Northeast Pennsylvania has a tight-knit dental community. In 2023 we were approached by a respected general dentist - who saw value in our approach, services, and brand - to take over his pediatric practice. In a matter of weeks, we transformed the space, aligned our systems, and opened our doors; retaining both his patients and attracting new ones of our own.
